The Training of Field Data Collection Officer for Susenas September and Seruti Quarter III

Thursday–Friday (August 20–21), the Sabang City BPS conducted offline training for Susenas September and Seruti Third Quarter field staff in the Mata Ie Resort Sabang Auditorium, following an online training session held on August 17–19.

This training was organized to equip field staff for the implementation of the September 2026 National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas), which collects important information covering aspects of demographics, education, employment, health, asset ownership, access to basic services, social assistance, as well as household consumption and expenditure patterns, in alignment with national and provincial estimates. In addition, field staff were also provided with materials on the Household Economic Survey (Seruti) for the third quarter of 2026, which is designed to obtain household economic statistics regarding the value and patterns of income, consumption expenditures, non-consumption expenditures, investments, and household financial transactions.

Through this activity, it is hoped that all field staff will gain a thorough understanding of the concepts and definitions so that they can produce high-quality, representative, and sustainable data to support accurate development planning.
