Statistics of Transportation in Sabang Municipality 2023

The national transportation system has an important role in supporting national development. Transportation is needed to ensure the mobility of people and goods. As part of the economic system, transportation has a very important function in national development. Indonesia is an archipelagic country where the development of the transportation sector is designed for three purposes, namely: a) supporting the economy; b) national stability; and c) reducing development gaps between regions by expanding the distribution reach of goods and services to all corners of the archipelago.
