On Thursday, February 22, 2024, the BPS-Statistics of Sabang Municipality held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to prepare the Sabang Municipality in Figures 2024 publication. The event took place at the BPS-Statistics of Sabang Municipality Hall and aimed to discuss and collect feedback related to the latest statistical data about Sabang Municipality.
The head of BPS-Statistics of Sabang Municipality, Mr. Ir. Maimun, enthusiastically opened the event, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and diplomacy in achieving our shared goals. During his speech, Mr. Ir. Maimun expressed his excitement and optimism that the FGD would serve as an excellent platform for sharing valuable information between BPS and related government agencies. Furthermore, he diplomatically stressed the significance of collaboration between BPS-Statistics of Sabang Municipality and local governments to enhance the quality of statistical data and the relevance of information provided to the public.
It was an absolute pleasure to have several government agencies attend the FGD activity, whose data will be used in preparing the Sabang Municipality in Figures 2024 publication. The discussion was incredibly insightful and covered various aspects of Sabang Municipality statistics, including economic growth, agriculture, finance, and other sectors. It is clear that there is a shared goal among all parties to ensure the continued success and development of Sabang Municipality. The results of this FGD may serve as a strong foundation for creating publications that will greatly aid in the development of Sabang Municipality and further strengthen the national statistical system.
